17 Husker Baseball Players Earn Academic All-Big 10 Honors

17 student-athletes from the Nebraska baseball program were honored Monday, as the Big Ten Conference announced its spring and at-large Academic All-Big Ten teams.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team (verified by being on the official squad list as of May 1 for spring sports), have been enrolled full-time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.

The baseball honorees were among 131 Husker student-athletes to claim Academic All-Big Ten awards during the spring, including three from the men’s golf program, five each from the bowling and rifle programs, six each from beach volleyball, men’s tennis and women’s tennis, seven from women’s golf, 12 from softball and 64 from the men’s and women’s track and field programs.
