THE HAWK 98.5’S BRACKET OF ROCK BRACKET OFFICIAL RULES:
- One entry per person, must have name and phone number written on bracket.
- Must be 18 or older to enter.
- Brackets must be filled out completely, any open slots will not be awarded points. Please write legibly. Any writing that can’t be determined within our best efforts will be excluded and no points will be awarded for that line.
- Brackets must be turned in by Monday May 12th at 9:00 AM CT SHARP! Voting begins at 9:00 AM that morning and will continue up until May 28th. No late entries will be accepted.
- Brackets can be turned in or mailed to our offices at 307 East 4th Street in North Platte, faxed to 308-534-6651, emailed to contest@huskeradio.com or sent to our Hawk 98.5 Facebook page. You are allowed to take a picture of the bracket and send it to our Facebook page, however make sure the picture is fully clear.
- Voting begins Monday, May 12th and will be conducted on our website at huskeradio.com. From there, links will be available to the appropriate voting portal for that day, along with accessible on our Facebook page. Details will also be announced daily on The Hawk, 98.5 FM.
- Point will be awarded based on how many matchups each contestant correctly guesses the winner on, based on this scale: 2 points for first round, 4 points for quarterfinals, 8 points for semifinals, 16 points for the finals round and 32 points if you guess the correct overall winner. We will tally your total points and whichever contestant has the most will win the prize.
- Overall prize is two tickets to the ZZ Top/Night Ranger contest, August 10th at Pinewood Bowl in Lincoln, NE
- In the event of a tie in points, the tie-breaker will go to whichever contestant had the champion correct. If those that tied in points had the same champion (correct or not), the tie-breaker will go to whichever contestant had the most correct bands in the final round. We will work our way from the inside of the bracket out based on this to determine the tie-breaker. If those tied had the exact same amount in each round, the tickets will be split up as evenly as possible. The winner will be contacted through phone number provided.
