For the first time in over a decade, there’s been a change at the top of the NEBRASKAland DAYS Corporate Sponsorship Program. Viaero Wireless, based in Fort Morgan, Colorado, takes
over as the name sponsor for the Viaero Summer Jam Concert Series effective immediately. “We’re very grateful that Viaero was in a position to take over that spot,” said Executive Director David Fudge. “It’s a vitally important spot in our program and allows us to continue pursuing the type of talent we’ve become accustomed to having at NEBRASKAland DAYS.”

“We’re excited and proud to embark on this crucial partnership with NEBRASKAland
DAYS,” said Viaero’s President, Mike Felicissimo. “We’re happy to step in to deliver exciting
new technical services to the Fair Grounds and are looking forward to continuing our substantial
investments in the community.”

The company’s commitment to NEBRASKAland DAYS goes far beyond most normal
sponsor relationships. Viaero and NEBRASKAland Days have also reached an agreement
which will aid in patron connectivity while attending Celebration events. Pending regulatory
approval, Viaero plans to build a 150 foot tower on the north end of the Wild West Arena to
provide better cell service for customers. In addition, the company plans to wire the Arena and
its structures to provide free public WiFi to people who attend events at the arena.

Jon Becker, Viaero’s VP of Government and Business said “these improvements and
additions to our infrastructure will help Viaero better serve the community’s cell phone and
internet needs. We’re excited to be the instrumental force behind making these service
improvements happen for North Platte and Northern Nebraska.”

“I was taken aback when Viaero began discussing this part of their proposal,” said
Fudge. “It’s a remarkable investment in our facility and represents a significant improvement to
the experience our patrons will enjoy.”

Pending approval by the FAA and the City of North Platte, the company intends to have
the new systems active in time for this year’s festival. The inaugural Viaero Summer Jam Concert Series will be one for the ages. On June 26th, CMA Male Vocalist of the Year Luke Combs will be in North Platte. He’s being joined by CMA New Artist of the Year Ashley McBride and Drew Parker. Then on June 27th, legend Toby Keith will appear with Special Guests Mitchell Tenpenny and Meghan Patrick.
