A windy day held the scores up a bit, but the North Platte golf team was able to overcome the conditions and bring home a team title at the Ron Coleman Invite in McCook at Heritage Hills Golf Course. The Bulldogs won the invite with a 340 team score, 16 strokes ahead of second place Broken Bow. McCook came in third at 361 with York in fourth.

Individually, McCook’s Brady Esch played like it was his home course, shooting a 76 to edge York’s Reed Malleck who came in second at 76. North Platte’s Drew Phillips came in third at 82 with Jayden Jones and Kasch Morrison in fifth and sixth at 85. Tanner Ruda shot an 88, good for 10th overall.
