The North Platte First National’s Senior baseball team garnered the #3 seed in the upcoming A-7 District Tournament, set to be held July 20th-24th in Lexington. The Nats are 20-21 on the year, finishing 4-4 in A-7 District play throughout the year.
Hastings Five Points Bank grabbed the top seed in the district, ending the year 36-4 with a Cornhusker League Championship. Kearney will be the #2 seed at 32-9. Lexington is the #4 seed, while Scottsbluff will be the #5.
Play begins Friday with North Platte v Kearney at 5:00 PM, followed by Lexington and Scottsbluff at 8:00. Games will continue until Tuesday, when the championship will be held.
