HASTINGS — One deserving nonprofit organization will receive 24 hours of free marketing services thanks to IdeaBank Marketing in Hastings. Nebraska nonprofits are encouraged to apply for IdeaThon 2025. The winner will receive in-kind services valued up to $40,000.
“Typically, it costs money to do good in the community, but many nonprofits’ budgets are extremely limited,” IdeaBank owner Sherma Jones said. “What if we could work around the clock, providing free marketing services for 24 hours? Think of how much good that would do!”
IdeaThon 2025 will serve an organization who needs to get the word out about something specific, like an upcoming program, campaign, fundraiser or event. IdeaBank’s team of strategists, designers, web developers and copywriters will work early Thursday, July 10, through Friday, July 11, creating resources to support that effort.
Marketing services could include:
- Program or event branding
- Copywriting and theme development
- Marketing strategy
- Design work for brochures, direct mail, posters, signage and other materials
- Media strategy
- Social media strategy and materials
- Website content
- Press releases
- Video production
- Email marketing messages and templates
Past IdeaThon recipients include the Multicultural Coalition in Grand Island, which leveraged IdeaThon 2021 to promote its Immigrant Story Walk, and enCourage Advocacy Center in Hastings, which used IdeaThon 2023 to launch its inaugural Mint fundraiser gala.
