May 16, 2024 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Weather permitting, old Hwy 77 north of Wahoo will close May 17,
according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Graham Construction of Omaha is the prime contractor for this project. Work includes closing access
from old Hwy 77 to US-77 for the phased construction of a new concrete roundabout.
Traffic will be maintained with a detour, lane restrictions and reduced speed. A 12-foot width restriction
will be in effect. Anticipated completion is Nov. 2024.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, put phones down.
