March 4, 2024 (Lincoln, Neb.) — Weather permitting, work will begin March 11 on N-62, from reference
post 21+21 to reference post 30+16, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Werner Construction, Inc. of Hastings is the contractor for this project. Work includes pavement repairs,
culvert remodels, and pavement overlays. Traffic will be maintained with pilot car and flaggers, lane
restrictions, and temporary traffic signals. A 12-foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated
completion is Sept. 2024.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones
down.
