Husker Regular-Season Finale Chosen By BTN

huskers-2

Nebraska’s regular-season finale at Illinois on Sunday, March 3, was chosen as a BTN wildcard selection by the network on Thursday, Feb. 22. The game between the Huskers and Fighting Illini at the State Farm Center in Champaign will tip at 3 p.m. (CT).

The Big Ten Network waits to make its final television selections for the last day of the season in order to select the most compelling games across the conference. Nebraska’s game at Illinois could have a major impact on seeding at the Big Ten Tournament and should provide an NCAA Tournament-caliber match-up. All 14 teams will be in action on Sunday, March 3, including five key games on FOX/BTN/FS1/Peacock beginning with a top-five clash between Ohio State and Iowa in Iowa City at noon on FOX. Michigan State travels to Wisconsin for a 1 p.m. tip on BTN, before Maryland travels to Indiana to face the Hoosiers at 2 p.m. on Peacock. Nebraska’s game with Illinois tips at 3 p.m. on BTN, before Purdue closes the regular-season at Michigan at 6 p.m. on FS1.

Prior to Nebraska’s game with Illinois, the Huskers will close regular-season home action against Minnesota on Saturday, Feb. 24. Tip-off at PBA is set for 4 p.m. (CT) and tickets are available now at Huskers.com. Nebraska will enjoy the mid-week off in preparation for its game with the Fighting Illini.
