
The North Platte boy’s golf team added to their impressive title list in 2019, winning the Scottsbluff Invite on Monday, edging out Cheyenne East by two strokes 317-319. It was a three-headed monster finishing in the top 10 individually for the Bulldogs with Kasch Morrison leading the way a stroke off of the title, ending with a 76. Cheyenne Central’s Ethan Cates, Cheyenne East’s Blake Danni and Kimball’s Dillon Wise all ended with a 75 with Danni winning the playoff.
North Platte’s Drew Phillips and Jayden Jones both shot a 79, good for sixth and seventh. Tanner Ruda finished at 15th with a 83 while Finn Lucas was just back at an 85. The Bulldog golfers return to action on Thursday, traveling to Yankee Hill Country Club in Lincoln.
