The North Platte Bulldogs boy’s soccer team had their season end in heart-breaking fashion, falling to Lincoln North Star in the A-7 District Title 1-0 Thursday at Bauer Field. It’s the second straight season that the Bulldogs have ended their year with a loss to Lincoln North Star.
The lone goal came late in the first period for the Navigators and that proved the difference as North Platte couldn’t equalize. The Bulldogs are now 11-4 on the year and will hope for the lone wild card spot in the State Tournament, with brackets to be released Saturday.
