It was all North Platte on Tuesday in McCook at the Bison Cross Country Invite at Heritage Hills Golf Course as North Platte’s Evan Caudy took the boy’s title with North Platte Saint Patrick’s Kate Steinike claiming the girl’s. As a team, North Platte brought home both titles as well.
Caudy finished at 17:22.53 while teammate Joel Bradley wasn’t far behind, coming in second. Thomas Moss from North Platte and Tayler Kleinow both came in 5th and 6th for the Bulldogs.
Hershey was led by Gabe Becher who finished 21st while Sutherland’s Jade Paxton came in at 24th. NPSP boys were led by Logan O’Malley who finished 30th.
On the girl’s side, Steinike won the meet at 21:28:23, edging North Platte’s Zarah Blaesi. Genna Blakely came in 4th for the Irish. Hershey’s Varsha Huebner paced the Panthers, coming in 18th while Sutherland’s Cydnie Wilson came in 28th overall.
