April 25, 2024 (Lincoln, Neb.) — Weather permitting, railroad crossing project will begin May 7 on
US-136, reference post 209.05, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
The crossing repair work is being done by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. Please see
attached detour map. Work is anticipated to take three (3) days.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
