Sterling, Colo. – North Platte Community College men’s golf team finished their final round at the Sky Ranch Golf Course on Friday.
Jayden Jones wrapped up one of his best tournaments of the season with a second day round 78, as he closed the tournament at eight-over par to tie for 20th. Jones needed only one stroke on a 161-yard par 3 to aid in an opening round score of 73 (+1).
Taytom Timbers and Cole Kramer finished tied for 34th after improving on their opening round to finish with a two-day score of 163 (+16). Treyten York finished the final day with a round of 83, as he finished tied for 43rd.
Caeson Clarke (+21) and David Winkelmann (+22) finished one stroke apart over the two-day tournament to place in the top 50.
Knights will host the Nebraska Junior College Invite beginning on Monday, April 15 at the Lake Maloney Golf Course. The second day of the tournament will be held at River’s Edge Golf Course.
