March 20, 2024 (Lincoln, Neb.) – Weather permitting, tree removal work will begin March 25 along
NW 126th and I-80 and NW 98th and I-80, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
This work will remove designated trees along NW 126th and NW 98th bridges over I-80 in preparation for
construction work to begin in the Spring of 2024. Traffic will be maintained with the use of flaggers in
work zones. This work is anticipated to be complete by April 6, 2024
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
