Work Will Resume on US-77, I-80 to Warlick Blvd in Lincoln

March 20, 2024 (Lincoln, Neb.) — Weather permitting, work will resume the week of March 25 on

US-77, from reference post 56+97 to reference post 63+05, according to the Nebraska Department of

Transportation.

Constructors, Inc. of Lincoln is the contractor for this project. Remaining work to be completed includes

bridge joint installation, asphalt milling and overlay, installation of rumble strips, and installation of

permanent pavement markings.

Work on the project will take place during the daytime and nighttime with the use of work lights.

Overnight closures with detour routes will occur at the I-80 interchange. A 12-foot width restriction

between reference post 59+10 and reference post 63+05 will be in effect for the duration of the

remaining work. Anticipated completion is June 2024.

Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
