Nebraska rifle athletes Cecelia Ossi and Emma Rhode earned All-American honors from the College Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) on Friday.

Ossi, who placed eighth in the smallbore at the 2024 NCAA Championships, was named a first-team All-American in the event. She also grabbed second-team All-American air rifle and aggregate honors.

Rhode, a native of Kempton, Pa., was tabbed a second-team air rifle All-American and was selected as an honorable mention in both the aggregate and smallbore.

“I am glad that Cecelia and Emma are able to get some recognition out of the season,” Head Coach Mindy Miles said. “The two have done well to post high scores for the team throughout the year. It is an incredible honor to make the CRCA All-American teams, and they should be very proud of themselves.”

Ossi competed in every match this season for NU and has the highest averages on the team in the smallbore (587.69) and aggregate (1,181.92). She broke the school record in the smallbore with a 597 at UTEP and tied the school air rifle record with a 598 against West Virginia. The Annandale, N.J., native notched 10 first-place finishes this year – four in both the smallbore and aggregate and two in the air rifle.

Rhode owns the highest air rifle average on the team with a 594.23. She has posted four first-place finishes in the event, along with two in the aggregate and one in the smallbore.
