Man Arrested After Incident at Sioux County Feedlot

JANUARY 26, 2024 (SCOTTSBLUFF, NEB.)  — Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol, with assistance from the Scotts Bluff County and Sioux County Sheriff’s Departments, have arrested one person after an incident this morning at the Sioux County Feedlot.

Just after 9:00 a.m. MT Friday, troopers were called to assist deputies in Sioux County after a man had threatened two others with a knife at the Sioux County Feedlot. The suspect was later located at a business in Morrill. Troopers and Scotts Bluff County deputies were able to take the suspect into custody without incident. He was found to be in possession of a knife.

Alden Hill, 49, of Morrill, was arrested for making terroristic threats, possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person, use of a weapon to commit a felony, sex offender registry violation, and other charges. He was lodged in Scotts Bluff County Jail.
