Perkins on Nebraska: “I chose Nebraska because of their dedicated support, values and initiatives for student athletes. My shooting career won’t last forever, but my education will and I can see that Nebraska strives to set their athletes and students up for a lifetime of success. During my visits, I was thoroughly impressed by the programs and opportunities the University provides to help students achieve their goals. Coach Miles and Coach (JT) Schnering are also building a strong team that I am very excited to be a part of. The coaches have been supportive of my shooting goals and expressed a willingness to help me achieve the next step in my shooting career. The ladies on the team are outstanding and were so warm and welcoming that I immediately felt like part of the family. I really fell in love with Lincoln and the UNL campus. As soon as I stepped on campus it felt like home, and I knew this is where I belonged.”
