Nebraska Public Media to Televise Three Husker Women’s Basketball Games

The Nebraska women’s basketball team will add three games to its television schedule for 2023-24 with Nebraska Public Media producing a trio of regular-season games to be carried statewide, the Huskers announced on Wednesday, Oct. 25.

The Huskers will make their first appearance of the season on Nebraska Public Media when they play host to 2023 NCAA Tournament qualifier Southern University at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Sunday, Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. The Tigers won the 2023 SWAC tournament championship and will be Nebraska’s final home regular-season non-conference opponent of the year.

The Big Red will be on Nebraska Public Media World in January when the Huskers play host to Big Ten rival Purdue on Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. The Boilermakers also secured a spot in the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

The Huskers will be on Nebraska Public Media for a statewide television audience just three days later, when Nebraska takes on Rutgers in Lincoln on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 2 p.m.

All three of Nebraska’s women’s basketball games produced by Nebraska Public Media also will be streamed live for subscribers of B1G+.

The Huskers open exhibition play against Dakota Wesleyan on Sunday, Oct. 29. Tip-off against the Tigers is set for noon with a live video stream for subscribers of B1G+ and live audio on Huskers.com and the Huskers App provided by the Huskers Radio Network.
