North Platte’s senior citizens will benefit from a food drive conducted by North Platte Community College’s Leadership and Team Development class.
Students are collecting canned green beans and corn, instant potatoes, boxed stuffing and dessert mixes as part of a community service project. Items will be turned over to the North Platte Senior Center for distribution.
Donations will be accepted through Oct. 27. They can be dropped off at the Welcome Centers on NPCC’s north and south campuses, the Espresso Shop by Caravan, Westfield Floral and NebraskaLand Bank.
