Grand Island, NE— Elite Casino Resorts is ecstatic to open up the Elite Sportsbook at its Grand Island Casino
on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
Guests will find convenient betting kiosks and retail betting in the Draft
Day area at the Casino.
Last week, the casino expanded its offerings by being the first in the state to offer table games, adding blackjack, craps, and roulette tables in addition to new state-of-the-art slot machines.
“We are excited to offer sports bettng to our guests,” said Dan Kehl, CEO of Elite Casino Resorts, the
parent company of the Grand Island Casino. “This is another big step on our path to bring a permanent,
full-service casino resort to Grand Island.”
Chris Kotulak, CEO of Fonner Park, also showed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are listening to our
customers and adding amenities and options to make every visit a great experience.”
The location of the new sportsbook received a complete upgrade. The former Snack Bar underwent a
transformation into “Draft Day,” a culinary destination offering a wide menu selection including
appetizers, burgers, pizza, salads, and breakfast bites on weekend mornings. The menu,
designed to cater to a variety of tastes, is sure to improve the overall casino experience.
