The North Platte FNBO Seniors are still alive in the A7 District Tournament, despite a 1-0 loss to Kearney on Monday. North Platte (31-19) will play an elimination game against Hastings on Tuesday at 4 PM at Ryder Park in Grand Island.
North Platte opened the tournament as the #3 seed and defeated Grand Island U-Save 10-0 on Saturday. Sunday took 13 innings but ultimately North Platte defeated Grand Island Home Federal 1-0 with a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 13th inning.
Now, North Platte must win against Hastings to continue their A7 District run. Should they defeat Hastings Tuesday, they’ll play the winner of Kearney and Grand Island Home Federal, who will play at 7 PM on Tuesday. That matchup would be on Wednesday at 4 PM. The full updated bracket is below.
