The North Platte Engineering Department has announced that they will begin proactively pumping storm sewers.
According to a release from the city, anticipated rainfall in the next 48 hours and the South Platte River’s cresting in the next 24 hours, pumping will be required.
The operations will be located along the South Platte River and will impact trail access and may impact street access. Pumps may be moved, as needed. Please proceed with caution in these areas.
