NEWS RELEASE: USA Pickleball, Great Plains Region
Please join us as we celebrate the upcoming 4-day PFA Pickleball Round-Up June 8, 9, 10 & 11 @ Memorial Park Pickleball Courts. The event will kick-off Thursday, June 8th @9am with a Celebrity Paddle Battle with sponsors & first responders paired up with 8 of our local juniors to compete in the annual exhibition match. T-Shirts will be provided for each participant and available for pickup prior or on hand at check in.
All participants need to check in at 8:30am on Thursday, June 8th @ Memorial Park Pickleball Courts. Play will begin directly following The National Anthem @ 9am.
There will be 8 teams with one adult and one junior. All teams will play each other one game to 11 points by 1, then will be seeded based on points. Tourney play will be one game to 15 by 1 single elimination. Championship will be best 2 out of 3 to 11 by 2. Medals will be given to the top 3 teams. Group pictures will be taken before play begins and medalists to follow. All participants will be done by 10:30am.
