A Senior from Wisner-Pilger High School in Nebraska has died after collapsing at a track practice this past Friday, according to the Wayne Daily News.
The school district confirmed the news on their website that 18-year-old Hunter Palmer passed away.
Funeral arrangements have been planned for this Wednesday, May 10th at 7 PM at the Wisner City Auditorium.
The school also released this statement:
“It is important for parents to check in on their children during this difficult time. Grief is very complicated and can affect each child differently. If your child needs any assistance please contact the school at (402) 529-3249.”
