
The North Platte Saint Pat’s Lady Irish track team took to the course and field and never looked backed, dominating the annual Jim Mather Track Invite in Arapahoe Wednesday, nearly doubling up the competition with 150 team points. Elm Creek was second at 85.50 points with Bertrand third a point and a half back. NPSP won a total of six events, including sweeping the relays. They also had their hand in scoring in nearly every event of the day.
On the boy’s side, the Irish finished in sixth overall with 36 team points. Cambridge won the meet with 112 points, followed by Loomis and Bertrand. The Irish were led by Tyler Ferguson, who won the 800 meter dash.
