
The Perkins County Plainsmen continued to hit the links well, winning the rescheduled Garden County Invite in Oshkosh yesterday, finishing with a team score of 334 strokes, well ahead of second-place. Garden County finished in second with 368 strokes, followed by Dundy County-Stratton at 372, Paxton at 380 and Mullen at 383.
Individually it was just as good for Perkins County as both Josh Johnston and Tyson Patrick shot at 79 to win the invite. Dundy County-Stratton’s Nate Auffet came in 3rd with an 83 while Mullen’s Koby Walker finished with an 85. Paxton was led by Jeremy Peterson who finished with an 88, good for 8th overall.
