On Saturday, September 20th, the High Plains Early Childhood Collaborative will host its second annual Outdoor Play Extravaganza from 9am-12pm in the parking lot and gazebo area of Centennial Park. This event is free of charge.
The purpose of the Outdoor Play Extravaganza is to offer families with young children the opportunity to spend some quality time with one another. Members of the High Plains Early Childhood Collaborative will have booths with family-friendly activities and games, such as, bubbles, building blocks, and a nature scavenger hunt. Activities are ideally for families with children aged 2-6 years, but all families are welcome.
All families who participate in at least 9 activities and complete their Bingo card will receive free snow cones from Snowball Express. Also, all families who participate in the event will be entered to win a one-year family membership to the North Platte Area Children’s Museum. The first 30 families who register at the event will receive a free gift with household items.
