On Friday, Huskeradio staff honored their late part-time employee Rick Windham with a tribute show on KODY, 1240-AM/106.-1 FM. Windham passed away on Thursday, July 31st.
Windham worked for Huskeradio for more than twenty years, helping co-host “Mugs in the Morning” on Monday and Fridays, but also hosting his own show, “Outdoor Connection” every Friday at 8:30 AM. His show would focus on outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and wildlife in general, featuring guests from all over the country.
The tribute show featured many guests including Sheriff Jerome Kramer, Nebraska Game and Parks’ Julie Geiser and Greg Wagner, the North Platte Bulletin’s George Lauby and more.
