
North Platte, NE – The Lincoln County Republican Party will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, May 19, at 6:00 p.m., allowing party members to engage with local leadership and discuss key issues. The meeting will feature Elizabeth Tegtmeier, a Nebraska State Board of Education Member. There will also be a group discussion on a summer community event.
Tegtmeier will provide an update on recent developments at the state level. Her presentation will cover topics such as the Model Behavior Policy, changes in federal funding, the shift from private to public funding for the Child Development Associate position, and the importance of community input on the Strategic Plan.
The Lincoln County Republican Party is in the early stages of planning a summer community event to foster local engagement and bring residents together in a fun, family-friendly setting. Party members are encouraged to share their ideas and suggestions during the upcoming meeting, as input from the community will help shape the event’s activities and focus. This initiative reflects the party’s commitment to building stronger connections within the county and promoting civic involvement throughout the summer season.
The event will occur at Eagles Club #2839, 620 N. Chestnut Street, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. All interested party members are encouraged to attend and participate in this informative session.
