Clarke Shoots Collegiate Best at Eastern Wyoming College Invite

Torrington, Wyo. – Three Individuals set new collegiate low rounds at the Eastern Wyoming College Invite on Friday.

Cole Kramer and Caeson Clarke both scored their personal best of 72, and Treyten York set a personal best of 74.

“I’m proud of how they competed this week, I believe our best is yet to come,” said head coach Will Peers. “We were a couple holes away from being where we want.”

Caeson Clarke wrapped up the tournament with a collegiate best 147 (+3) to finish tied for 11th in the individual standings.

Sophomore Cole Kramer followed his teammate with a top 20 finish with a two-round total of 152, including a 72 on Friday. Treyton York was able to rebound from an opening round 83 to finish 39th at 157 (+13).

Taytom Timbers finished fourth amongst the Knights golfers by concluding the tournament in a tie for 31st place after shooting a 159 (+15). Layne Smotzer (+29) and Jason Jensen (+51) rounded out the North Platte players in the field.

Knights return to action at the Central Wyoming College Invite for their final regular season tournament beginning April 17.
