
May 31, 2024 (Lincoln, Neb.) — Weather permitting, a bridge repair project will begin June 10 on
the southbound lanes of Interstate 180 (I-180) at mile marker 1, according to the Nebraska Department
of Transportation.
NDOT maintenance forces will be performing the bridge repair. The work is anticipated to take four (4)
days, southbound lanes will be reduced to one lane and the 401 Exit ramp to downtown Lincoln will be
closed for three (3) days. Motorist that are wanting to get to downtown off the interstate should use the
399 exit or 403 exit.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
