At 4 P.M. dispatch received a report of a vehicle colliding with a train.  The accident was reported to have happened at O Fallon’s Crossing which is about a mile east of Sutherland.  There was an east bound train stopped on the tacks.  The 16 year old driver of the vehicle did not see the west bound train coming because of the stopped train.  The 2 vehicles in front of him crossed safely so he did not check for a second train.  His vehicle sustained extensive damage.  He was transported to Great Plains Health and it was determined that his only injury was a concussion.  There is no suspicion of drugs or alcohol being used.  It is unknown if he was wearing his seat belt.
