North Platte, NE – May 16, 2023 – Mid-Plains United Way will hold its annual meeting open to the public on June 27 at Noon Central Daylight Time. The non-profit will hold the meeting at the Wells Fargo Building in the boardroom located at 315 N. Dewey St.
Mid-Plains United Way is a local non-profit that fundraises for other local non-profits holding a 501(c)(3) status. The organization runs an annual community campaign each year to fundrais for these non-profits. The entity helps combat many local issues including; child abuse and neglect, elderly hunger and nutrition, homelessness, Veteran PTSD, substance abuse and so much more. Mid-Plains United Way is a nonprofit organization in North Platte, NE working to build a caring community. 98% of all donations stay locally in the community. They conduct fundraising for local non profits so they have time to focus on providing services to the community. However, they also help with connecting resources. When a business has goods to donate, they help place those donations.
