After a few days of 60 degrees, winter weather will return to the area according to the National Weather Service. Highs for Tuesday and Wednesday are 60 and 69, respectively, but those will be cut in half on Thursday with snowy conditions possible around the state.
For the North Platte area, expect 1-2 inches of snow, but the main threat being strong winds that will make visibility low.
