Sutherland High School has announced that they will host an exhibition volleyball match next Tuesday, April 16th between the University of Nebraska-Kearney and Northeastern Junior College of Sterling, CO. According to a release from Athletic Director Dustin Mitchell the scrimmage match will start at 7:30 CT.
Last fall, both nationally ranked programs posted outstanding seasons in their respective divisions. UNK captured its 3rd consecutive MIAA championship in route to a 33-3 overall record and 20thconsecutive NCAA tournament berth. NJC qualified for the NJCAA Division I National Championships and finished the season with a record of 26-7.
