NPSP Wins Hershey Golf Invite

North Platte Saint Patrick’s won the Hershey Panthers Golf Invite Tuesday at Oregon Trails Golf Course, edging Valentine for the team title and tying in the individual side. The Irish were balanced, finishing with a team score of 334, three strokes ahead of the Badgers. Perkins County was just a few strokes behind them, finishing in third at 341. North Platte’s A squad came in fourth at 350, followed by Sutherland at 376 and Hershey at 383.

Individually, 77 was the number to beat as both NPSP’s Teegan Sonneman and Perkins County’s Jacob Woodmancy tied for the title. South Loup’s Colby Smith came in third at 78 while Carson Thelander of Perkins County was fourth, shooting an 80. North Platte’s Dillion Muirhead and Ryan O’Kief both came in at sixth and seventh, shooting 82 and 83 respectively. The Irish’s Connor Hasenauer and Andrew Lindemeier both shot an 83, tying for 7th.

Hershey was led by Gabe Becher, who shot an 88 while Sutherland was led by Peyton Copeland, finishing 12th overall with an 85.
