The North Platte St. Patrick’s Irish golf team went to the Cozad Invite Monday and came away with an eighth place finish. Southern Valley won the invite with a team score of 326, followed by the home team Haymakers at 329. Holdrege came in 3rd. Gothenburg was 4th with Ogallala coming in 7th.
Individually, Adam Cole of Cozad won shooting a 73, besting Holdrege’s Matt Anderson by three strokes. Gothenburg was led by Seth Daup who shot a 78, good for 5th. North Platte St. Pat’s was led by Tyler Heiss who shot a 86, good for a tie for 14th.
