Secretary of State Bob Evnen has certified the statewide ballot for the May 12, 2026, primary election. According to Nebraska Revised Statute §32-801, the Secretary of State is tasked with certifying candidates, offices, and measures to be placed on the statewide ballot at least 50 days prior to the election.
“Now that the primary ballot is certified, just ahead of the 50-day deadline, counties can begin finalizing their preparations for the primary election in May.” said Secretary Evnen.
