Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners to be held on January 26, 2026, at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:00 A.M.

Meeting of the Lincoln County Board of Equalization to be held on January 26, 2026, at the Lincoln County Courthouse in the Commissioners Room at 9:15 A.M.

  1. Open with prayer
  1. Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners meeting held on January 20, 2026
  1. Public Comment Period
  1. Consider the following:
  • Claims & Treasurer’s Receipts
  • Setting the 2026 Lincoln County mileage rate at 72.5 cents per mile effective 1-26-26
  • Adoption of Resolution No. 2026-05 in opposition of LB 1072
  • Receive and order filed the fee report submitted by the County Sheriff

Recess as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners and convene as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization.

  1. 9:15 A.M. Discuss and consider the following:
  • Approve minutes regarding the Lincoln County Board of Equalization meeting held on January 20, 2026
  • Public Comment Period
  • Certificates of correction and refund as submitted by the County Assessor
  • Motor vehicle tax exemption application as submitted by the County Treasurer

Adjourn or recess to time certain as the Lincoln County Board of Equalization and reconvene as the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners.

  1. 9:30 A.M. Update by Trudy Merritt of West Central Nebraska District Health Department on the Lincoln County wellness program

Discuss and consider Year 2 of the Lincoln County wellness program

  1. 9:45 A.M. Discuss and consider setting a date for the One and Six Year Road Plan public hearing
  1. 9:50 A.M. Annual report by Ben Dutton from Lincoln, Logan, McPherson Counties Extension Office
  1. 10:05 A.M. Quarterly report by Brandon Myers of Region 51 Emergency Management

Closed session to discuss strategy with respect to pending or imminent litigation, real estate purchase, deployment of security personnel and devices or evaluation of job performance as to prevent needless injury to reputation (if necessary)

Hear concerns from Elected Officials, Department Heads, or their representative.
