North Platte, NE – Families 1st Partnership will resume its financial assistance program following a temporary pause in September of this year.

The paused allowed the organization to review and update its policies, forms, and procedures in response to recent executive orders and guidance from the Attorney General’s Office. These updates were necessary to ensure compliance with state and grant requirements and to maintain the integrity of funding that supports local families.

With those updates complete, Families 1st will once again be accepting applications for financial assistance. The program provides short-term financial support to families in Southwest and West Central Nebraska who are working toward stability and self-sufficiency.

Families seeking assistance can find eligibility information and submit an application at https://families1stpartnership.org/get-help/assistance-application-request.html.

Families 1st continues to work closely with community partners to connect families to the resources they need to thrive.

Families 1st Partnership receives grant funding from Nebraska Children and Families Foundation., the NE Child Abuse Prevention Fund Board, DHHS, and private donors.
