North Platte hosted the A3 District Track and Field Meet on Tuesday and came away with five gold medals, leading to fifth place finishes in both team scores.
The Lady Bulldogs finished with 60 points as Lincoln East won the team title at 109. On the boy’s side, North Platte accumulated 55 points with Omaha Westside claiming the title at 135 points.
Individually, Luke Tegtmeier led North Platte on the boy’s side with an 800 meter run first place finish. He was also a member of the 4×8 relay that claimed first as well. Three Lady Bulldogs came home first with, including Keyala Williams in the long jump, Katie Titus in the discus and Kori McClain in the 1600 meter run.
