Missing inmate arrested

May 6, 2025 (Omaha, Neb.) – An inmate who went missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln (CCC-L) has been arrested by the Omaha Police Department. Tomica Anderson #393586 was taken into custody Monday and booked into the Douglas County Jail.

Anderson went missing on Sunday, May 4, 2025, when she did not return to the facility from a religious furlough. She started her sentence on November 14, 2024. Anderson was sentenced to five to six years for burglary out of Douglas County.

CCC-L is one of two community custody facilities operated by NDCS. Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility. Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
