Omaha, Neb. – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE) is proud to support 21 nonprofits across the state with the company’s Health of Nebraska sponsorship. This sponsorship uplifts organizations that provide programs and services for Nebraskans impacted by a medical diagnosis.

All sponsorship recipients are under the Combined Health Agencies Drive’s (CHAD) umbrella. CHAD has been raising funds for Nebraska’s premier health agencies since 1972.

“Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska has a longstanding history of championing the health and well-being of Nebraskans,” Jay Warren-Teamer, BCBSNE’s community and strategic engagement leader, said. “We’re proud to partner with CHAD to amplify the amazing work of its member agencies, which are on the frontlines serving and advocating for communities across the state.”

BCBSNE’s Health of Nebraska sponsorship was first awarded to CHAD in 2020. The 2025 sponsorship will support the following member agencies: ALS Association; Alzheimer’s Association; American Foundation for Suicide Prevention; American Lung Association; Arthritis Foundation; Autism Action Partnership; Brain Injury Alliance of Nebraska; Breakthrough T1D; Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation; Epilepsy Foundation of Nebraska; Heart Heroes; Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; National Bleeding Disorders Foundation; National Multiple Sclerosis Society; Nebraska Hospice & Palliative Care Association; Nebraska AIDS Project; Nebraska Health Care Foundation; Nebraska Kidney Association; Susan G. Komen; Team Jack Foundation; and United Cerebral Palsy of Nebraska.

“We’re honored that Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska continues to support our member agencies,” Michelle Grossman, president and CEO of CHAD, said. “The Health of Nebraska sponsorship provides essential support to programs that are making a difference in the lives of the people of our state.”
