  1. OPEN FORUM (comments from Students, Faculty, Staff, Public and Board)

A copy of the Open Meetings Act is posted and located in the meeting room. If anyone from the public wishes to speak to the Board, they are asked to sign in at the Public Information table. The Board has established rules of procedure for addressing the Board which will be followed, and in order to comply with the provisions of the Nebraska Public Meetings Law, the Board will not immediately respond to or take action on any matter raised during the Open Forum unless the matter is already on the agenda. The Board of Governors reserves the right to adjourn to closed session, if necessary, pursuant to Nebraska Public Meetings Law 84-141.

  1. ACTIONS REQUIRED BY LAW

4.1 Program Review: Dental Assisting

The Board will make a recommendation on the Dental Assisting Program Review.

4.2 Program Review: HVAC

The Board will make a recommendation on the HVAC Program Review.

4.3 6R1N (Six Regions One Nebraska) Grant

MPCC serves as the fiscal agent for the ARPA funds awarded by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development for the 6R1N Regional Development Initiative. The Board will consider bids for a qualified firm to develop a comprehensive regional workforce housing revitalization plan. The selected firm will also create a skilled trades workforce inventory and gather data to incentivize developers, inform leaders, and assist communities.

4.4 Virtual Desktop Hardware Upgrade

The Board will consider bids for the Virtual Desktop Server (VDI) upgrade.

4.5 Two 1-Ton Dual Rear Wheel Pickups

The Board will consider the purchase of two 1-ton dual rear wheel pickups to update the existing fleet.

4.6 Bills for January

The Board will consider the bills for January in the amount of $2,075,126.87. Board members that received reimbursements during the month will abstain from those items only.
