Oct. 5, 2023 (Lincoln, Neb.) – The location for the North Platte meeting has changed to Best Western Plus
Conference Center, located at 3201 S Jeffers St.
The Nebraska Broadband Office announced the availability of the new Nebraska Broadband Availability
Map. The GIS map represents all served, underserved, and unserved broadband serviceable locations
across the state.
As part of the map availability, there will be ongoing public engagement across the state including a
series of eight public meetings and an open comment period from Sept. 14 to Oct. 14. During the
open comment period the public will be asked to provide comments on the broadband map, including
searching their addresses to verify level of highspeed internet access at their homes/businesses.

at one of the following meetings hosted by the Nebraska Broadband Office:
• North Platte, Oct. 9, 4-6 p.m.
Best Western Plus Conference Center, 3201 S Jeffers St.
• McCook, Oct. 10, 5-7 p.m.
Cobblestone Inn, 1301 US-83
Meetings are open to the public and will include a map-focused discussion, as well as provide an
opportunity to learn about broadband programs and buildout across the state and provide input into
digital access, affordability and need for technical skills to create equitable distribution of resources.
