NP Area Habitat for Humanity to Host Final Informative Session

North Platte Area Habitat for Humanity will conduct its final information session for the season this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Habitat administrative office at 420 North Cottonwood Street. Attendance is required to receive an application. The deadline for applications is July 31.

North Platte Area Habitat for Humanity builds homes, communities and hope. Habitat helps individuals and families achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. If a family has a need for better housing, the ability to pay, and the willingness to partner, they may qualify for a Habitat home.

To determine if you might qualify, and to ask questions about the homeownership program,
attend the information session this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at 420 North Cottonwood Street. Attendance at an information session is required to receive an application. Saturday’s information session will be the last of 4 sessions provided this season. The next opportunity to apply will be in 2024.

If families have applied in the past, and not been selected, they are encouraged to reapply if
they still have a need for better housing. Translation services will be available at this free event. For more information, contact the Habitat office at 308-534-6251.

About Habitat for Humanity:
NPAHFH works hard to make safe, decent, affordable homes available to low-income families. Through the support from the community we provide a hand up, rather than a hand out to those seeking a decent home of their own. Homes are built with volunteer labor and sold to qualified families at no profit, with no-interest loans.
