C. Adopt the Resolution consenting to the sale and consumption of alcoholic liquor on August 22, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 1 a.m. on East 5 th Street and North Dewey Street during Music on the Bricks and approve the applications by The Cedar Room, ApeShip Brewing and McCabe’s for the Special Designated Licenses.   1. Approve the application by Fraternal Order of Eagles 2839 for a Special Designated License on September 11 ,2026 from 1 p.m. to 1 :00 a.m. at 620 North Chestnut Street for the Cody Cruisers Car Show. (Angela Gilbert, City Clerk)
  1. Approve the application by First Evangelical Lutheran Church for a Special Designated License on September 26, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the courtyard at 305 West 5 th Street for their Oktoberfest Festival.
  2. Adopt the Resolution for Signing of the Municipal Annual Certification of Program Compliance 2026 and authorize the Mayor to sign the Municipal Annual Certification of Program Compliance to Nebraska Board of Public Roads Classifications and Standards 2026. (Angela Gilbert, City Clerk)

REGULAR AGENDA

CLOSED SESSION TO DISCUSS PERSONNEL, REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS OR POTENTIAL LITIGATION TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC INTEREST (IF NECESSARY)

  1. Authorize the Parks & Recreation Department and the Citizens Health and Wellness Committee to establish guidelines and coordinate efforts to gain sponsorship/naming rights for various recreation facilities and establish a maintenance fund and a scholarship fund with the proceeds.
  2. Adopt the Resolution regarding publicly accessible code compliance tracking. (Judy Clark, Development Director)
  3. Adopt the recommendation by the City Planning Commission to vacate a 10′ wide utility easement located at 302 West Third Street on property described as Lot l , Garrison Subdivision, North Platte, Lincoln County, Nebraska. (Judy Clark, Development Director)
  4. Accept the Certificate of Completion for Paving District No. 837 (West 9th Street from 300 feet west of Sherman Avenue to Buffalo Bill Avenue; North Carr Avenue from 9th Street to Rodeo Road; and North Mills Avenue from 9th Street to Rodeo Road) and accept said improvements.   1. Approve the bid in the amount of $319,916.70 and authorize the Mayor to negotiate and sign contract documents with Paulsen, Inc. of Cozad for the South Park Trail Project. (Brent Burklund, City Engineer)

  1. First reading and action to adopt Ordinance No. 4255 annexing Lot I Deep Waters Retreat Administrative Subdivision, Lincoln County, Nebraska, consisting of approximately 2.326 acres, into the corporate limits of the City of North Platte. (Judy Clark, Development Director)

PUBLIC HEARING

  1. First reading and action to adopt Ordinance No. 4256 to rezone certain land from an R-3 Dwelling District to a B-2 Highway Commercial District on property located at 2420 West 13th Street. (Judy Clark, Development Director)

PUBLIC HEARING

  1. First reading and action to adopt Ordinance No. 4257 to rezone certain lands from a B-2 Highway Commercial District to an R-3 Dwelling District on property located at 606 and 608 East 5th Street. (Judy Clark, Development Director)

BOARD OF EOUALIZATION

I l . Approve the Benefit Schedule for Sanitary Sewer Connection District No. 22 (Echo Drive approximately 1300 feet south of Walker Road; thence north to Walker Road; thence west along Walker Road to Buffalo Bill Avenue). (Brent Burklund, City Engineer)
