Tuesday morning at approximately 3:55 a.m. Deputies responded to a report of a semi on fire near mile marker 166 on Interstate 80.
Upon arriving the semi trailer was fully engulfed in flames, the driver was successful in removing the truck before the fire got out of control. The semi was loaded with gummy bears with no hazmat danger.
Hershey and Sutherland Volunteer Fire Departments quickly responded and stopped the spreading grass fire as well as extinguishing the trailer.
